I had a high temperature today of 52.3 at 15:25 with clear blue skies and very dry air (a minimum RH of 16%). Winds remained below 4 mph from the south, but were more often than not, calm
I measured 14.5" of snow remaining on the ground this evening down from 17.3" two days ago, a loss of 2.8".
And this (to the right) was the picture of Frosty late this afternoon (17:49) as the sun was starting to set behind the hill & trees to the west. It looks like Frosty has seen better days... like yesterday. I've begun adding pictures to my Picasa album The Death of Frosty. I imagine the look on Frosty's face says something like, "Get me the hell outta here!!"
Nathan, this has to be one of the coolest things I've ever witnessed... I am sure there are other snowman melting documentaries out on the Internet but currently I am only aware of one! THIS ONE!
