Heavy Snow Warning

It seems Duluth NWS has decided that there will be significant lake-effect snowfall today and tonight -- we've been issued a Winter Storm Warning until 6:00 Wednesday morning.

From the Twin Ports (Duluth & Superior) eastward through Bayfield and Ashland Counties could see between 6 and 10 inches total with the east and northeast winds ahead of this clipper system.

The map (above) shows the current advisories and warnings in the Duluth County Warning Area.

The map (to the left) is the updated snowfall prediction map from Duluth's NWS Office. The addition is the cute little red bulls-eye in the middle of the map. I'm about where the 'e' is in 'Inches'.
